good for all the people that went over there to see the troops on that USO tour. They will remember it forever.

I was never on the base when any of the big USO visits happened during my six deployments. Missed out. Would have loved to see Peyton whle I was over there. I think it is great that he takes the time to do this for the troops.

Proud to call Peyton Manning a Volunteer!

I was always in a remote base, so the USO never showed up; however, Charlie Daniels did show up for a concert in 2005.

No one showed up in 2007 or in 2010......

The cheerleaders, musicians, or athletes usually come to the high profile bases and not the ones in the remote areas......

Could the level of potential danger remote areas represent be a factor? Probably a dumb question I'm asking but. . . .

V.F.M. = Vol For Money. There are very few VFLs, we recognize the true ones. Actions speak louder than words.
