Oh yes, I want to be part of the commercial where the nation mourns the departure of Stephon Marbury.

No soccer fans in Spain were mourning the loss of Beckham. It was more like "So long, you old bastard."

I'm sure quite a few people were sad to see him go, even though he was pretty old by European league standards.

The pain in Spain is mainly feigned
Lame players in Spain are usually against the grain. But the guy they gained kept them from getting slain by England's main so I doubt the pain in Spain is mainly feigned.

Not the point at all, but noted anyway.
If Beckham's fame was meirly feigned, how lame is Starbury's game? Wait, wrong reply.

Did you all hear about Marburys special moment when he kissed his sister? That was one of the weirdest things i ever heard.

If your comparison is that these 2 guys play sports that no one in the US cares about, then yes.
