The bill is coming due for LSU



I started a post last night with predictions but LSU dropped in D1 poll more than even I expected.
The Tigers fell 20 spots to #38 in RPI as they have the 192nd ranked strength-of-schedule
In the next week or so, the RPI will start to more closely resemble the polls and rankings.
I'm not sure how Baseball America can still have Florida ranked at 18-8 and 0-6. Especially since they are #34 in RPI

East Tennessee State is up 6 spots to #30. They went 2-1 on weekend against Samford after selling their collective souls last Tuesday.

#1 is Independent which consists only of Oregon State #18

SEC is 244-43 in Non conference (.8502)

For those interested: Warren Nolan computer predicts Vols will finish 50-6 (4 more losses)
2 Losses at Arkansas
2 losses at LSU
Sweeps against everyone else

Not sure if it’s the source material or you are creating spreadsheets, but all of these except BA have the wrong (23-2) record for TN. It is 22-2 (but will be 23-2 after Tuesday).

ETSU was all the way up to #24 right after beating us (briefly making that a Quad 1 loss). Dropping one to Samford moved them back down giving them only a net +6 gain for the week.

Ironic all the LSU people bleating about us not dropping when losing to ETSU when ETSU is 8 spots higher in RPI than LSU…..

Florida was missing their best two starting pitchers this last weekend. That’s why that series with Georgia was so lopsided.
