Mark Martin to MWR in 2012 (RUMOR)

Supposedly will be driving a part-time schedule in the #00 Aaron's Toyota. Michael Waltrip is expected to drive some, if not all, of the 4 restrictor plate races in the #00. Not sure how many total races Martin will be running, nor what is to become of David Reutimman.

Good for him. I am not a huge Mark Martin fan, but he always seemed like a decent guy and should keep racing as long as he is competitive.

I'm kinda surprised I for sure thought he would wind up at SHR splitting with Patrick. I hate it for Reutimman though, he has been the best driver for them. I don't see him getting another competitive ride again sadly. It sucks to see him kicked to the curb.

I've always liked David, but he is too mousy on the track. He needs to be more assertive, as other drivers often take advantage of him by intimidating him usually resulting in him giving way.

There stands to be several drivers looking for rides; David Ragan, Brian Vickers, Reutimman, possibly Logano, and a couple of the low buck teams may not return.

Interesting how all the drivers looking for work are mediocre to average at best. Most have been stealing money from NASCAR for years.

Being the best driver on a team consisting of some combo of Truex, Michael McSomethingorother, and Waltrip really isn't saying much

I hate it for David. He's a pretty good guy and has always worked well with Aaron's. However, the fact is he's not a good driver. It's hard to compare him in only MWR equipment, but he's never been impressive in the lower series either. I do think it's a bit odd that Martin and Waltrip are teaming up, but money and sponsorship talk.

Working well with sponsors means getting them on TV, he failed to do that.

I don't really feel sorry for these guys losing rides. Sprint Cup is supposed to be the best of the best, if you can't hack it, there is the truck and Nationwide series.

I realize the equipment isn't always equal but Dale Jr. proved that it takes more than a fast car to win at that level.

Its official, Mark will run 25 races the next two years in the #00. I just hate to see him not running full time again.
