How long will it be before Richt feels some heat? Two blowout losses this year and blowout losses to Tennessee in the previous years...

The natives are starting to get a little restless. It's dawning on them that UGA has not done a very good job of recruiting to their needs the past few years.

My friend says Richt is a pushover and needs to be fired because he hires within the program and doesn't make the fires when needed...

...sound familiar?

People seem to have forgotten that before the Vandy game in 07' Richt had lost 6 straight SEC East games...

I think he is by far the worst of the "elite" coaches in this league...he has just milked a good win over UF for the whole past year...

Well...now it seems obvious that it might have been a fluke win

It wasn't a "fluke" win. UF lost 4 ballgames. They were not anything special last season either.

Richt is a skinnier, younger Fulmer.
Yeah, just he has better talent to work with. I truely thought with garner in place and the way georgia was ripping up the sec in the early 2000's. I thought it wouldn't be long before georgia played for all the marbles.
It hasn't happened and i bet the dog fans are wondering this as well. Mark richt is a pretty good coach and his seat isn't that hot. I bet they win out and play in the capital one bowl. They'll finish 11-2, i'd take it.

Regardless of Auburn's poor performance thus far, Auburn is still a tough place to go play. I also would give UGA a free ride against GT.

Is Richt on the hot seat yet????

My guess is that his seat is not exactly "hot," per se. At least not yet. But he's probably burned through most of the goodwill he earned by winning two SEC titles in his first five years. It would be hard to overstate how offended UGA fans get by losing to Tech.
