Did you guys hear what Mark Schlereth said about the Heisman trophy on ESPN with Skippy? I can't remember the quote but basically said it was a junk trophy because it goes to the best player that touches the ball on a regular basis, and that isn't always the best player in football. We all know it was important to give it to defensive players...well at least for that one year. Funny it hasn't happened since huh? It is a popularity contest at best.
