how does he feel about former head coach lassiter staying on staff? I know I wouldn't like that.

He likes the fact that Robert will stay on board.

I personally believe that his coming back to Gallatin and becoming the head coach was orchestrated by the decision makers at Gallatin and Robert himself.

No, Robert left as head coach on his own accord. He wanted top spend more time with his wife, Mary Glen Lassiter (Proud Mary on Nashville radio station 104.5) He had been the head coach at GHS for around 15 years and needed the break from head coaching duties.

This is absolutely correct.

Congrats to Coach Williams. Great guy and will work his butt off.

He has a junior QB, Clay Carnes, with great experience coming back. They should be a decent team next season.

This has been in the works ever since Williams went to Gallatin from Smyrna. I'm sure he will do fine, but it's still kind of surprising that Gallatin didn't aggressively pursue a more proven head coach.
