Other than averaging 1 more YPC last year and being a much bigger threat as a receiver out of the backfield I'd say not much. But hey I only see what I want to.
Meaningless carries? Didnt Lane start the entire 2nd half of last season? Also Neal was recruited as a rb and converted to a Wr and then back to rb last season for depth. It appears you only see what you want to see. Also if you would like to check today Lane has been more productive with less touches.
C'mon man don't bring that argument. You don't convert good backs to wr period. There is a reason everyone wanted Lane and Neals only other sec offers were Mississippi st and Kentucky. Do you need anymore facts? Or should I just post "what I see"
To be honest you haven't posted many facts. Just generalizations that I'm supposed to assume are factually based. They were both 4-stars. The only fact that matters is that Neal gets more touches. That's all I need to know. If Lane gets more touches and does well I will be a happy guy. I just want to win. But a thread every few days about this very subject is pointless. It's the backup syndrome that we always have as a fanbase. Everyone thought there had to be something better behind Crompton, but there was only a worse Stephens. Backups are backups for a reason.
I'll just assume you've never been on a football field from the points you brought up. The rest of us will just keep wanting our most productive back to he the majority of the carries. And because I'm absolutely positive you don't know. Each has 11 carries today would you like to know which has more yards?
