Marlin Lane plays with heart. He should have gotten more touches than Neal IMO. Neither are going to be successful with our pansy offensive line play.

^^This. Neal kept running right into the backside of James Stone who was being pushed 3 yds in our backfield every play! Lane runs with power and is decisive. But apparently the best staff in the country is going to play the best players to help us win aka butter fingers Jo Smith, Neal, Peterman at Florida, Worley ever in a spread run formation, etc etc. Yet we're going to run a spread run offense with a line thats spent 3 years doing nothing but pass blocking no matter what because Worley's threat to run is whats been winning us games this year.

He gets hit in the head all week 3 months at a time , what excuse do many of the VN posters have for their language/tense/verb/writing skills?

Oh I know. But I do think Hurd will see a lot of action. Still waiting for that next Jamal Lewis.

Would love that! But I think Hurd will be more like Eddie George or Eric Dickerson. As long as he becomes the offensive weapon we all believe he will be. :peace2:
