Brings to mind two questions:

First, what are the chances this is just Marlon joking around or his account was hijacked by a friend?
(you would think he'd have the common sense not to write that)

Second, has an NCAA investigation ever been launched by a post on a social networking page or anything like it?
(I wouldn't think this has nearly enough substance to merit their attention)

It is a fake Facebook. I have some friends that have worked with him and know him very well. They say that his real facebook profile is the one listed under Harding Academy. I looked at their accounts and sure enough, that was the profile listed in their friends list.

This is pretty lame honestly. Who cares if the kid said it or not. I was 18 years old one time myself. Everytime I see something like this I think of all the stupid remarks and stuff I done when I was young. The kid made a remark to one of his friends. If he done it at all. I hate UGA along with everyone else. But come'on. This is pretty petty. Kevin Scott is on the main board at rivals making himself look like an ass. I kind of had a little respect for the guy before today. But there isn't any news here. It was a stupid comment. That's it.

Kevin Scott seems to have proof and I have no reason to doubt him. True or not, I think it should be investigated...

..if it was about one of our players I don't think it would be taken so lightly...the news media would be all over it. imo..

Kevin Scott was on his way to getting a job in the recruiting news world. But he gets on the Rivals MB and starts name calling and acting like he has proof of some major thing that happened. Just very unprofessional.

Really what if Brown said that? Does it matter? Is it news? He is an 18 year old kid. Come on? Sometimes kids do stupid stuff. Give the kid a break. He picked UGA over us for whatever reason. I would have loved to have had him here. Just be man enough to wish the kid well and move on.

If they investigate this,.. then all the players who drive new Escalades and Hummers should too. IMO
