There isn't another Vol on this team that gets me more fired up than Marlon Walls. As we sit here just before the Missouri game, scanning Volnation, and watching Vol videos, I caught the look of Marlon walls and remembered. I remembered a guy that fought hard to get to Tennessee and was recruited by Fulmer. He was here when Kiffin skipped out after only one season and endured the frustrating Dooley years.

He's one of my favorite people to follow on twitter because of his attitude and vision. Typically the last game of the year is a time to reflect on the senior class but it's never too early to celebrate a true VFL!

There's no sitting by a lake here but you can obviously tell that this guy Get's It! He's All Vol!

Yes Sir! I've been a M. Walls fan since day 1! It would take true heart and determination for an individual to stick around through all he has been through. A true VFL!

He's been through tough times. Seeing him cry after the Georgia game broke my heart. Seeing him cry after the South Carolina game filled me with joy.

Tribulations can define a man. How they handle them anyways. After Bar Knoxville incident he has climbed out and battled adversity head on. Darren Myles Jr, Da'Rick Rogers, Janzen Jackson took one avenue. Marlon has certainly took the high road. VFL

Just a little sidenote. When he attended Woodale, he and Dontari Poe played together on the same line. They were fun to watch.

Marlon is the definition of VFL. Dooley may have coined that phrase, but players like Walls have lived it. And he's not the first, but he is definately one of the most special. No other Vol I'm aware of can claim 4 different HCs while here. He has seen adversity, and he has faced it head on like a man. For that, every Vol fan should show this young man some love. Thank you Marlon, for keeping your head high, and for never quitting on the Vols. Keep that attitude in life, and you will change the world.

The profile on Marlon they did on the Butch Jones show a couple of weeks ago was outstanding. What a great leader and a great Vol! Very proud of this young man!

I met Marlon 2 yrs. ago after the orange and white game.Class young man who loves Tennessee.Told me when he was being recruited that he knew Tennessee was where he would wind up going. He said the first time he ever walked into Neyland he got a huge lump in his throat and tears started flowing for no reason other than being in that big ol empty stadium. He said he knew he was home. One of my favorites also
