Marshall @ Ohio St.

Awesome that Marshall scored a touchdown on a blocked field goal.

Just saw it on the highlights. 20-7 Ohio State though.

I went to the game last night. First time at the Shoe. It doesn't have anything on Neyland, and I am saying that as objectively as possible. I have some friends who are OSU grads and they have admitted that they were overwhelmed by Neyland. Anyway, I'm now looking forward to that distant series against the Buckeyes. Hopefully we will be title contenders by then!

As for Ohio State... I'm not sold on them. Terrell Pryor made some terrible throws, but Marshall's secondary is horrific. He had good numbers but his recievers were wide open on most plays. Dane Sanzenbacher is their #1, and he would get shut down by most of the SEC's #1 CBs. Anwyay I think Pryor will be like last year and look amazing in some games and make costly mistakes in others. Also, OSU's secondary didn't look stellar, Marshall is just bad. Obviously Wisconsin hasn't played, but if they are as good as I think they will be, I could easily see OSU losing in Madison.

I would say Posey is the #1 but Sanzenbacher obviously gets passes thrown his way as well. Pryor impressed me last night with his ability to actually make his reads. As far as Wisconsin goes it's always a tough game when they meet. It also doesn't help that they return one of the best olines and one of the best rbs in the nation. Next week will most likely determine if this OSU team is for real.

That's true. One thing that did stand out to me - Pryor's pocket presence. Noticeably better than last year. But like that snap he bobbled and then just heaved up was reminiscent of the Purdue game last year. Kind of groan-inducing. It's not completely fair to make judgements just after the first game and against an opponent like that, but those things kind of stood out.

Tyler Moeller has made a heck of a comeback. He looked great last night.

Yeah it was way better and that play was awful. I hope he cuts that out quick, he won't get away with those things against Miami or anyone else on their schedule for that matter.
