Incredible how well Marvin can deliver a story. Crisp, detailed, poignant. Weaves baseball history with today's drama.
We have lost so many superior sports journalists. Their replacements are click-bait, drivel spewing hacks.

I actually didn’t think it was well written. Better than the clickbait trash for sure but was a staccato outline. Didn’t really capture the moment or paint a picture with words. Have never read his articles before though so maybe it his style and some grew up with it or it grows on you.

I also was expecting John Ward in prose and print after the comment so might be an issue with my preconception.
