Maryville College Scots' Owen has 17 tackles in loss

Owen recorded the third-highest single game tackle total in Maryville history with 17 total tackles in the Scots' 21-8 loss to Emory & Henry College. The Sarasota, Fla., native registered eight solo tackles with a pair of tackles for a loss and a sack and also forced a fumble. Maryville's defense allowed just 258 total yards and two touchdowns in the loss.
