Watched it last night. Loved it. Not quite what I was expecting. The first half hour or so I laughed quite a bit as it is a very self-aware movie and there a lot of inside jokes. I've seen several reviews panning it because of this, but I thought it was well done. As a Matrix geek, I have been waiting for this for years and I felt rewarded as the film just didn't "mail it in." There was new substance and plot themes that kind of mirror society today. Very happy with it and I will definitely be watching it again soon.

I usually agree with @615vols on most things, but I thought it was alright. Much better than I expected, it got some chuckles out of me for how "meta" and self-aware it was. Damn near breaking the 4th wall. I'd give it 6.5/10. It was better than the early sequels.

I was a big Matrix fan, even tried to defend the sequels for years (though I finally came around that they were meh at best and terrible at worst). I'm REALLY trying to like this and it's just.....boring me. The first third or so has just been kinda lazy IMO. I mean thought The Force Awakens was too much of a retread but this is taking the cake.

Every time I see Keanu I think how much more I'd rather be watching John Wick 4.

That avi...😂 the damn truth.

Matrix was silly back in the day. It was ahead of its time cimematography wise. This move sucked so bad. Its hard to fathom.

I think I have a little less than half an hour left. It's taken me all day to get through this thing. And this is my third attempt. Hoping for a big payoff at the end.

I went in expecting not much and was still disappointed. I've yet to find anyone I know that has seen it that thought it was good. It's not the worst movie ever or anything, it's just along the lines of Indiana Jones 4 disappointing.

was on a date and went to IJ4. there were other factors but i'm proud to say we got up and left
