Damon must be believing he's still in character as a brilliant mathemetician janitor.

I don't know that he was a great debater as much as he was a great communicator.

Why should anyone care what Matt Damon thinks about anything except acting?

Most of us don't, somehow that hasn't been communicated to celebrities though because they feel the need to state their beliefs way too often.

Reagan was more than an actor, he was elected governor of Cali and President.
When Damen get elected to anything I may give a rats behind what he thinks.

I would argue it kinda goes hand in hand.:)

No, not really. In order to be good in a debate you need to be able to refute the claims of your opponent and more articulately make your case.

To be a good communicator you simply need to get your message across to people of varying walks of life.

Granted a good debater should be able to do both but a communicator just has to appeal to the masses.

i was watching the Hannity show and they had Fran dressure(sp) on this round table with Michael Steele the LT gov of Penn (i believe). it was so sad watching give her lib talking points and then get schooled the Gov. he was really nice about it, it was more of a civics and economics lesson than a debate. she just sat there searching for something to say. then she said, well people with more need to give more. it was so funny and sad at the same time.

Uh oh, that guy didn't hesitate to beat the hell out of someone. I guess it could be worse, he might think he's Jason Bourne and just snap dude's neck.

Eh...what's the difference. Kristol does this every week with Juan Williams.

Matt Damon is a pretty smart guy, went to Harvard, wrote a screenplay and won an oscar, but he would absolutely get buried by Krystal.

This is pretty silly.

I'm using this thread to officially challenge Dick Cheney to a pie eating contest. Bring it on old man.
