If the Jags draft Maclin, then it's pretty much a lock that Troy Williamson gets released. And you know what that means...he will be pumping gas in South Carolina.

I'm confused. He hasn't been catching any passes for Minnesota or Jacksonville so I just assumed he already was pumping gas.

Well, he's cut or suspended and the jags are drafting maclin

Jags shouldn't draft Maclin. They better go with an OT, preferrably Virginia OT Eugene Monroe if he's there.

Yep, or else they may as well adopt a 0 WR set anyway. Tra Thomas is not a franchise changing solution at tackle, so Monroe would be their best bet. If Monroe goes early, I doubt they reach for Smith, but who knows. Would probably still be better than taking Maclin.

I agree, but Tra Thomas at least gives them breathin room. If Monroe is gone, and as the #3 OT he very well may be, then drafting Andre Smith or Michael Oher is an option. Thomas gives them the ability to play Smith/Oher at RT for their first season, much like the Titans did with Roos. They'll have the time to coach the rookie up while allowing him to get accustomed to game speed at a less critical position.
