Always admired Matt's drive and tough-nosed play at QB. Not as gifted as many QBs, but damn good work ethic.

Always thought he got a bum rap. Not the greatest QB, but not every problem on the team can be attributed to the QB as some seem to think. Lack of a run game factored into his ineffectiveness, and overall lack of just having a good team around him.

Plus it takes time to develop at QB for most players, and UT fans are really impatient with QBs, having been kind of spoiled by the Kelly-Shuler-Manning-Clausen-Ainge run (a couple interruptions between Clausen and Ainge). And Bray was pretty good too, for that matter.

Matt with a 38.9 QB rating against a very good Miami defense. But, it was a heck of a lot better than Geno's 8.3 QB rating.
