This should actually be recommended reading for all HS athletes... And inner-city or at-risk kids. He's not John Steinbeck by any stretch of the imagination but it's nice to see that he really seems to have matured while in lockdown...

I heard about that a little bit ago. I haven't checked it out though but like you said, it's good that he seems to have finally matured. He was an idiot but I feel bad for the guy. He pretty much threw away a potentially great career when he was only 19.

I think it's weird how many OSU fans absolutely hate his guts. Without him, there's no way they come close to the NC in '03 and with him in '04, they would've won it again.

I know this guy deserves every joke ever told about him.....but I just cant help but feel sorry for him. What an incredible waste of God given ability. I just honestly hope he can have a descent life and make a difference in some kids lives as a result of the road he has taken.

I'm really amazed. He has seemingly come a very long way from where he was when he got arrested. I commend him for trying to reach out and teach people through his past mistakes as much as his situation will allow.
