Every 2005 college ranking say something about our RB's? Do we still not have Gerald Riggs? Didn't he rush for like 1100 yards or something? I know we lost Houston, and others. But aren't we pretty deep there? Someone enlighten me if I am wrong please. Who will our RB's be in 2005?

Arian Foster will probably be better than any of those 3. Don't forget about him.

Trooper Taylor has said that he is probably the best RB we've got he just couldn't learn his pass block schemes and things such as that....Sounds like we're loaded at RB and QB and just about everywhere else....Can't wait till next year :good:

i agree.. riggs did look very good throughout the season... can't wait to see him bust for another 1000 + yd season...

and what about Ja'Kouri Williams.. how is he going to fit into this offence next year???

I think they say this because we lose Houston and Davis. However, anyone who paid attention this year knows that Riggs is very capable of doing great things next year. I just think that our team is so loaded going into next year that they don't have anything else to say. I also thought that Yancey had some good runs in that little bit of time he played. I think that we will have a stable once again if these younger guys figure out the blocking assignments.

If anyone went to the orange and white game last year they know that Yancey out performed Houston and Riggs by a huge margin. He has tremendous potentiel and could be very vital either next year or the year after when Riggs is gone.

Not to mention...

I love saying his name.

Yancey.

Facts:
Foster is the best back on the Hill
If Riggs doesn't have a great off-season Foster will beat him out
Both Riggs and Foster will play this fall will enter fall drills 1 & 2
Foster didn't play because of Clearinghouse issues and that is the only reason!
The lateness of the Clearinghouse giving their OK (Monday before the first game) prevented him from being ready.

This is my first year following the recruiting trail, thanks to all of you, can you please give me some more info on these guys?

Why so high on foster, he was only a three star recruit?

What is clearinghouse and what issues?

The only position I'm concerned about is center.

If McNeil is a quick study, you won't have worry about that.

This is what really bugs me about the so-called experts.

Davis wore a hole in the pine this year.

He didn't play enough to earn a letter at some schools.

Houston, we wll miss. Davis was a disappointment after all the recruiting hype.

I wish them both the best.

Even in the limited work he got in Dallas, Yancey still looked fresh. Betweeen him, Riggs, Foster, Coker, and whomever else, we are looooooaded at RB. Just another critic with no real insight.
