Who is the MBA kicker and what year is he? Have we offered him yet? I've seen this kid play and he is the real deal!

Lord knows we could use a kicker...

This does bring up a good point, what are our options as far as place-kicking as far as recruiting goes, surely the plan isnt to stay the course with Lincoln

BA is no longer a pipeline to Auburn. It's now a pipeline to Bama. J/K

We have let way too many good prospects out of Middle Tennessee go to other schools the last several years though. If it was '98 and we were coming off a championship, we could have gotten Patrick Turner, Golden Tate, and Chris Jordan. Say what you will, make all the excuses, but when you have a state as thin as this one, you better make sure your gems stay home.

There is a kicker at McMinn Co with a great leg and another at CAK probably the best I have witnessed this season.

True, keep yourt gems at home. but desperate times call for desperate measures, daniel lincoln cost us teh first game at UCLA and could have kept the confidence up and us in the game at alabama if he hadn't missed three field goals there too. If CPF stays he needs to take a long look at his starters cut his loses and lets get some fresh palyers in. some just do not live up to their stats.

agree. but every1 know that CPF plays to seniority (sp?) and that makes me think DL will be kicking until he has to stop. gosh i hope we get a new coach

Chattanooga area has several good kickers. Do you think more soccer players are realizing that football is a more realistic chance of getting a scholly and that is why there seems to be more and better kickers. Tyner even has a good kicker this year, of course he goes to a school that doesn't have football and doesn't actually attend Tyner.

another thing, how is there not a single guy in the entire nation that we cant put on scholly to do nothing more than kick the ball in the endzone on ko's? is there no one out there that can do it?

Goodpasture actually has a player in the NFL now that Buggs was elevated from the practice squad
