Before I get lambasted, let's ask ourselves one question: Could either be worse than what we've seen?

Not to down Mcbee cause i love the kid, no homo, but he would get blasted if he went up to pressure the ball, Bone dont know much about him would have to wait and see.

Honestly, I dont think it would really matter who we have at the point. We dont have a true PG on that team, and either of them would make that bit a difference. We need T. Smith to step up and take control of the team. He needs to be the leader!

Maze: 30 Assists/ 13 TO

Goins: 24 Assists/ 16 TO

McBee: 8 Assists/ 3 TO

T. Smith: 39 Assists/ 8 TO

Why not let Tyler just go ahead and play point? I will have to disagree on Goins, but I'm willing to listen as to why you think he's a better option.

We probably don't let Tyler play point because he is not a point guard and would be terrible trying to guard at point.

As opposed to Frick and Frack running around out there now completely clueless.

I'm just saying, take a look at the stats.

Fact is we don't have a point guard on this team. We keep trying to make 2 guards into point guards with little to no success.

This. We're going to struggle against any team with good guards regardless of who plays the point.

Defense, period. None provide any offensive advantage. Goins plays respectable D.

Those stats are a little misleading. The stats you posted are per game. A better way to calculate their output is minutes per game.

Maze 23.3mpg 3.0apg
Goins 23.3mpg 3.7apg - Projection

Also...

Maze 23.3mpg 3.0apg 1.3to 0.9stl 42.5%fg
Goins 15.9mpg 2.4apg 1.6to 1.2stl 43.6%fg

excellently done, I think Goins deserves his shot, it could provide a much needed spark.

We need to knock down open shots is what we need to do...The point guard play is sloppy and needs drasticly but I think this whole team has not molded together yet. Its like they are all waiting on someone to take the lead each game. We need a player on the court who controls the team.

Maze is a better scoring PG in my opinion while Goins is better at distributing and playing D...both are better options than McBee and Bone
