There is absolutely no harm for the team in this move. I'm glad he stuck around and chose a long shot with us.

We may get lucky here.

I have played agianst this kid.... He is better than jordan howell was more consistant and better handler and plays defense..... not as good as jajuan and chris but could help us with our 3pt shooting

Damn, he's destined to be an All-American then.

Presumably you've played against all 4 listed here. Otherwise, it's gibberish.

220 3 point attempts last season?!?.....Made 39.5 percent of them and shot 82.5 from the foul line....Nice!....Could indeed become a weapon

we need a weapon on D. I just wonder how much D a 6'1" guard from Rutledge has had to play

Great, now we get to listen to 4 years of people on here talk about how good he is just because he's from the area.

Please explain how him being better than Howell makes him worthy to be on the roster...

explain how playing against him helps one understand that he's better than Howell?

Hundreds of HS scoring phenoms bomb annually in college ball.

if you've been to Rutledge you would quickly realize high-speed internet access is not really a priority

I think this is a good pickup...at worst he sucks and he doesn't make it...on the other hand he could turn into a nice three point specialist and could be a nice addition to a rather dismal 3 point shooting roster.

I mean, you're going to have walk-ons. Why not him? I don't have any delusions of him becoming a starter or anything, though.

Hatvol is going to have fun with this one.

I dont think he wastes much time on it. Its a walk-on. How is there any harm in allowing the kid to walk-on. If we had offered a scholarship, then hat would have had a field day.

He's going to get 3 years on scholly, or at least that is what Pearl promised him. So that could change at any time.

Really? Promised with no strings attached? I hope he promised him that if he proved he could be a steady contributor.... Otherwise that was dumb.

"We have an agreement that I have five years there (with a potential redshirt) and that I can be on scholarship for three years."

It's a nice story for now, we'll see what it looks like when it comes time to make good on the scholarship.
