BPV, between the two of us we know a pretty fair number of coaches. We should start one of those search firms. I'm pretty sure we can come up with better advice than telling Iowa to hire an east coast guy whose only connection to the midwest is that he was an assistant coach at Notre Dame under Digger Phelps. I can't believe people pay for that kind of advice.

Why not give Mike Rice or Ben Jacobson a look. This is such a weird hire. Heck Lon Kruger would have been a better choice than McCaffery.
