This was the game that we've been waiting for...from ANYONE. No one had set themself apart until tonight. McCoy put on one helluva performance. I hate Texas and their ugly shade of orange, but he put on a show.

Barring an epic show of Tebow-ness from...Tebow...I really think Colt just won it.

Final line: 24/40 304 yards 4 TD, 18 rushes for 175 yards 1 TD

Yeah...McCoy seemed to pick it up about week 7...but this is the kind of game that puts a kid over the top. This Heisman race was pretty well even...I wouldn't have been surprised if Tebow, McCoy, Ingram or even Shipley ended up winning (well, maybe a little surprised if Shipley won).

Like I said, barring Tebow turning into an angel and immediately descending to Heaven, I think McCoy won it in a lot of voter's eyes tonight. Fun game to watch.

McCoy was crowned Heisman before the start of the season. Don't you know how Heisman works?

Texas AM D is awful and so is Texas! Florida or Alabama are going to bury Colt. That is why they should wait till after the NCG to crown a Heisman!

McCoy was running the ball like crazy last night, I'd say this will officially do it.
The 65 yard TD run was almost shocking. I think everybody knew he could move around pretty well, but he showed some real speed last night.

He did look good last night.....But so did the other QB.

A.K.A. Horrible defense. I honestly think Texas gets it handed to them in NC game.

I doubt that. Jerrod Johnson is good plus it was a rivalry game so those things are bound to happen. I think McCoy should win the Heisman though.

Dunno. Espn is still calling ingram the favorite

but I'll tell you what it did: unless tebow has like 2 8 td games over the next two weeks, it definitely pushed him out of the top 2 finalists this year

Not impressed.... Texas A&M's defense is horrid.

Any Heisman voter who casts his/her vote before Championship Saturday should have their votes taken away.

Was watching that game and saw that midway through the 4th quarter the teams had combined for over 1200 yards!!! Thoise defenses were BEYOND awful. Missed tackles, no speed, manhandled on the line, receivers had zip codes between them and the d-backs. Just so bad.

He may win it, and not saying he doesn't deserve it as much as any other contender. But I really do think they are in for a very unpleasant surprise versus the SEC champ, whoever it might be.

I totally agree. McCoy is running that offense really well right now, but that defense won't be able to handle Tebow and Co. or even Alabama's watered down SEC offense. Honestly, I can't see Bama beating UF anyway. Alabama (outside of Ingram) has done very little on offense. They run the ball well, but just don't put up the points to accompany it. That said, I'd be shocked if McCoy didn't win the Heisman. A&M or not, that was an impressive performance.

McCoy should win the heisman, if Tebow wins it it will be all on hype.

I also don't think Bama will be able to put up a single TD against UF's defense.

I actually wouldn't mind Tebow wining it. Then I could stop listening to OSU fans blathering about Archie Griffin being the only 2 time Heisman trophy winner as if it should be some source of pride 35 years later.

On a side note, informing Buckeye fans that Tebow's career is far more impressive than Griffin's was is a great way to get them flustered.
