The University of Tennessee baseball team was unable to take advantage of a sterling performance by senior Stephen McCray, falling 1-0 to No. 10 Oregon State Sunday afternoon at Goss Stadium in Corvallis, Ore. The 6-4 right-hander threw seven terrific innings, allowing just one run on three hits with four strikeouts and two walks in the tough-luck loss.

it was a great game! Not much offense until Oregon St. got it going in the 6th. Proud of our guys this weekend they played with one of the best. Hope this proves something to the rest of the league who picked us to finish last in the East
