Are they gonna promote the new Double Filet-O-Fish sandwich at halftime? If they do I'll watch it.

Yeah, that guy.

Whereabouts are they in Oregon, milo? Close to you?
Kevin Love is from Lake Oswego, a very afluent suburb of Portland about 6-7 miles south of Portland. Singler is from Medford, down in the nether reaches of southern Oregon.

I see.

Kinda looking forward to seeing OJ Mayo after all the run he's got on PTI lately. He apparently called out Wilbon.

I keep waffling on wether or not I like Mayo. I mean, he sounds arrogant and all that, not unlike a number of blue-chip hoops recruits. But then again, how many times do you see a kid call up a coach who is not even recruiting them and say "I'm playing for you." That's classic.

Floyd/USC wasn't even recruiting Mayo when he said that?! Wow, the way I understood it Mayo had already committed and Floyd hadn't heard from him in some time or something and Mayo just up and calls him and says, "I'm playing for you" and not to worry about anything else, that he would even take care of the recruiting.

Floyd also took some pretty good shots at Wilbon last Friday on PTI. Wilbon wasn't there, unfortunately.

Yeah, I saw Mayo is wanting to contact Wilbon. Wish I could be a fly on the wall for that conversation.

But yeah, as I understand it, USC wasn't even actively recruiting Mayo when he just called up and said "I'm playing for you." I hear Tim Floyd still doesn't even have Mayo's number. This is classic.

The New York Times had a great article on Mayo's recruitment last week. I thought Tim handled himself very well last week on PTI. I'm not sure I've ever seen "Five Good Minutes" run that far over its alloted time.

Yeah, that was another twist of it all. He never would give Floyd his number.

Wilbon is always ripping Floyd for not winning with the Michael Jordan-less Bulls and he just kept railing on Floyd for the way the whole Mayo thing was unfolding. Wilbon had been saying something to the effect of he wouldn't recruit a kid like Mayo for his team, to which Floyd responded last week, "If Wilbon doesn't want to recruit player's like OJ, I want to schedule Wilbon."

Wilbon is just being sore about the guy that came after MJ.

Typical looking all-star game. OJ Mayo misses the game-winner with a couple seconds left.

One of those broadcasters actually brought up the fact that Mayo would only be the second most famous OJ in USC history. Dunno that I'd wanna be compared to him...
