He was at his best here in Nashville. Like him or not he was a tough qb.

Yeah. The season he won Co-MVP he never practiced, but played pretty well.

I'm not sure it would have, but guess we'll never know.

Only two other guys had thrown for 30,000 yards and rushed for 3,500 before McNair

Fran Tarkenton and Steve Young.

I'd say it's safe to say McNair has a Hall of Fame resume even moreso if he had a ring.

I think you are right about his resume. He will be one of those guys who gets looked over more than a few years before he gets his bust. Suffice it to say he is nowhere near a first ballot guy.

just think of how good he coulda been if he woulda just practiced and not been a pansy

McNair took more shots and more abuse on the field than most QB's could even lie about withstanding. There is not one instance in his career where you can say that McNair was a yellow pansy.

And after all, you're just complaining about practice, anyways. Not a game...

Oh yeah he will not be a first ballot guy but he should get in IMO. But he only really played well for 4 or 5 year but those were excellent years. The others were good to average.

In 2006 he had a nice year too.

Even though I can't stand the Titans, it was always fun to watch McNair. I was always waiting for the game where his arm got ripped off his body, only to be surgically repaired at halftime and see him throwing TDs in third quarter.

Not a first ballot guy but the 30k passing yards/3500 rushing yards should get him in eventually.
