In other words we’re not throwing a big enough bag his way. I feel like he’s a plenty good player but maybe Auburn is playing the long game here to try and pull his teammate next year imo at least by doing “everything” to get him. May be an entirely different staff at Auburn after next year anyways.RC said TN likes him, but is not doing “everything “ to keep him from AU
That makes sense. In other words we’re not throwing a big enough bag his way. Believe the 105 number is the cap for scholarships. It is the increase from the 85 number. Rosters can be however large with non-scholarship players added.Fwiw rosters have a cap of 105 moving forward. Tennessee has 123 players on roster this year for reference. Not saying he's pushed out but could make some sense that they're not doing everything when you got hopefully a guy like Campbell and others coming in.
Guess I have to eat crow. If passed, it looks like rosters capped at 105 with all players on scholarship. That hasn’t passed yet. Judge didn’t sign the settlement agreement. It’ll still be 85 in 2025. 83 for Tennessee.

“However, with the new roster limits, opportunities for walk-ons will diminish significantly. Every FBS roster will now be limited to 105 athletes, a 23-spot reduction from the current average, and every one of those spots is entitled to a scholarship.”

Yeah, it's always nice to see kids show their appreciation to the team that accepted their commitment only to flip on signing day. Stay classy. But as was mentioned this has been expected for a LONG while so...................
