I couldn't find any highlights from his junior year, so I'm curious if they're recruiting this kid as a LB, Edge, or S.
If he's got the speed for a safety watch out. You can teach coverage and tackling. Love our player development and scouting so far. They go after smart & athletic kids. I understand that last sentence is what all schools do but our coaches of the past would take a 4 star athletic slow learner over the 3 star that can learn his responsibilities and apply that during the game.

In his sophomore highlights, he's running with WRs from his OLB position. The kid is quite the athlete.

If he’s playing safety position. May need a different position coach to “teach” him.

Nice to see us getting in on another highly-rated edge. Seems like Jordan Ross the only highly-raated edge guy we have traction with right now. Yes I know it's early and we'll be fine. Just making an observation

EDIT: Eli Rudolph is a guy we like. Will be here on the 28th. Forgot about him

Bryce Young
Danny Okoye (will be Top 100 player when rated, IMO)
Herb Gray (not yet rated)

Bryce Young is going to end up at Notre Dame. Okoye is a guy we have traction with and is supposed to be really good. I was looking at 247 rankings so he didn't show up. So yeah Ross and Okoye seem like the 2 realistic options there imo

No chance with Nwaneri you think?

He’s an Interior guy. Callahan said that he thinks we have staying power there. Definitely will make his top schools.

I see him as an end, same position as Baron. He's gonna put on 60 lbs and play inside? Not saying he can't just didn't realize

ND is chalk pick for Young for sure. Let's see how it looks after he comes to campus next weekend...

Like we were talking about above, I view him as too athletic to stick in the B gap. About 270-280 lb., 4-5 technique end (like Baron).

But it doesn't really matter, let's just get him.
Agreed. We are in the mix there. Was just saying the edge rushers we were in on I think
