If he's got the speed for a safety watch out. You can teach coverage and tackling. Love our player development and scouting so far. They go after smart & athletic kids. I understand that last sentence is what all schools do but our coaches of the past would take a 4 star athletic slow learner over the 3 star that can learn his responsibilities and apply that during the game.I couldn't find any highlights from his junior year, so I'm curious if they're recruiting this kid as a LB, Edge, or S.
In his sophomore highlights, he's running with WRs from his OLB position. The kid is quite the athlete. If he's got the speed for a safety watch out. You can teach coverage and tackling. If he’s playing safety position. May need a different position coach to “teach” him.If he's got the speed for a safety watch out. You can teach coverage and tackling. Nice to see us getting in on another highly-rated edge. Seems like Jordan Ross the only highly-raated edge guy we have traction with right now. Yes I know it's early and we'll be fine. Just making an observation
EDIT: Eli Rudolph is a guy we like. Will be here on the 28th. Forgot about him
Bryce Young is going to end up at Notre Dame. Okoye is a guy we have traction with and is supposed to be really good. I was looking at 247 rankings so he didn't show up. So yeah Ross and Okoye seem like the 2 realistic options there imo
