CCM said something on twitter earlier about today being media days. It's not a game day, but hey it's a start and it might can hold us over a little!:rock:

The Tennessee basketball team will be holding its annual Media Day on Thursday at Pratt Pavilion. Starting at 12 Noon, head coach Cuonzo Martin will hold his press conference followed by various player interviews and interactive media sessions.

Vols fans are welcome to join in the action. In addition to the live blog, which will be hosted here, please tweet in questions for players @Vol_Hoops with the tag #AskAVol.

Martin's statement. Watching some of it right now. The first thing he said was that Jarnell and Yemi have benefitted from Nicodemus's workouts, and they're both EXPLOSIVE now. He said Jarnell is quicker, and that he's been making some very impressive moves off the dribble. Then he said Yemi is just explosive, and dunking the ball with either hand with ease.

Says Golden is doing well, probably playing his best basketball at this point.

I'm really wondering if coach misspoke, but he definitely said Golden AND HALL are shooting the 3 very well...

Says Kenny added 10 lbs. Good if true. He's making it sound like Kenny will be getting some minutes. I could be wrong though.

Definitely made it sound that way, sounds like hell be the first big off the bench.

Also says maymon is hitting the baseline jumper consistently, and his ft are vastly improved...says he hits 10-15 in a row now.
