Beamer's presser this week gives an opposing coach's view of what Tennessee brings to the table. It's a healthy reminder of what our team's real (not fan-perceived) strengths actually are.

It's also a good source for opposition research, for anyone who's interested in that.

But I don't recommend past 06:25 in the video for those currently suffering a BVS relapse. As always:
- avoid stressful stats
- sip--don't gulp--your orange kool-aid, and
- limit your alcohol intake before noon.

I really like the way you present your message. It’s almost as if you work in mental health and you’re trying to keep us from driving off the road. I can’t listen to Shane Beamer because. Well, just because.

Beamer was super respectful in the video. You could tell by the way he spoke though and he knew our secondary was the weakness. I can’t imagine why, since we line up 10-15 yards off the line of scrimmage every play.

Uh..'Coach-Speak"...

Cant take anything from coach speak. He sees where we are weak.

EVERY coach speaks highly of the team they are about to play. It looks better if they win.
Gee whiz, y'all... you're negating the medical efficacy of the placebo effect!

Now I'm gonna have to crank out fake numbers to keep my federal grant
(...or double the estimated impact of BVS on climate change).

BVS is real. I am a sufferer.
Acknowledgement is the first step to recovery!

The real medicine for BVS is winning

While my instinct is to agree with you...
Dr. Robert Holden, a British psychologist, wrote: “Beware of destination addiction—a preoccupation with the idea that happiness is in the next place, the next job and with the next partner. Until you give up the idea that happiness is somewhere else, it will never be where you are.”

Well losing is how we developed the feeling of being battered, so the only other option is giving up on the Vols all together, and I’m not sure if I’m ready for that yet. So destination W it is!

The obvious answer for Banks is to line up our corners and safeties across our goal line, no matter where the line of scrimmage is. That way he can be certain none of their receivers will get past them.

Maybe Beamer should be critiquing his own team! They are not setting the world on fire 🔥. Just dumpsters!
