Meghan Gregg NAMED TO PRESEASON ALL-SEC TEAM

"Tennessee senior infielder Meghan Gregg has been named to the Preseason All-SEC team as announced by the league office.

Gregg was selected as the SEC Player of the Year and a TOP-3 Finalist for the USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year last season. She also garnered NCFA Division I All-American, NFCA Division I All-Southeast Region Team, All-SEC First Team, SEC All-Defensive Team and College Sports Madness Preseason All-American honors and she set Tennessee's single-season RBI record with 79 last season."

Who is doing the voting on these all SEC teams? UT, picked to finish, I think, second in the SEC, and probably a super regional team, at least, gets all of one player on the all SEC team? And she, one of the best players in the country? Must be all Bama, Fla, and Auburn voters.

DD...was thinking the same thing...I don't get it either...makes me happy when the team kicks booty though...Weekly's are the best...love to see them work...they can be funny sometimes too...

If Vines was healthy i would think she would be Pre season SEC as well. Matty should be as well.

SEC has so many top ranked teams with great players. 13 softball teams and only so many All SEC positions.
