In all the lauding, and glorification, they almost never get mention. But hopefully folks appreciate the exploits and sacrifices of the 369th Infantry Regiment and the 333rd and 969th Field Artillery Battalions (made it possible for USA soldiers to retreat to the Battle of the Bulge positions), and the 761st Tank Battalion, and others. They all fought two wars at the same time, yet served with valor.

Both my Grandfathers were in WW2

One was in intelligence in Europe and the other was at Pearl Harbour on Dec.7

Their stories were amazing.

Four former Tennessee players made the ultimate sacrifice during WWII. Their numbers have since been retired.

Rudy Klarer - killed in Europe, 1945

Bill Nowling - killed in Europe, 1944

Willis Tucker - killed in Europe, 1944

Clyde Fuson- killed in Europe, 1944
