From D1 Baseball.com……

So, who are expected candidates for the Memphis job? Here’s our list:

Dan Fitzgerald, LSU:

James Ramsey, Georgia Tech:

Ross Kivett, Houston: Kivett was a standout at Kansas State and did an excellent job with the Tennessee offense the past couple of seasons. The fiery assistant is now at Houston, and if he can help the Cougars turn things around this spring, his candidacy becomes even more attractive.

Josh Elander, Tennessee: The former TCU standout has done an excellent job as a recruiter and assistant at Tennessee, and again, he fits the same mold as Ramsey and Kivett as a grinder who would bring a wealth of energy to the Memphis program. He, too, is a top-flight rising assistant.

Chad Caillet, South Carolina:

Austin Wates, Kansas State:

Didn’t win the CWS. Hasn’t proved himself yet.
🤣🤣🤣

If Y9 was a Zona donor he would not have ponied up to keep Jay Johnson cause he only had 2 Omaha appearances and had he been an LSU donor he couldn’t have been counted on in helping lure Johnson for the same reason. Only coaches proven enough are Rod Dedeaux and Augie.

Well, neither of those names are currently available. LOL
