Denying Memphis permission to talk to Pearl does not guarantee anything. Memphis will talk to him regardless, it is just a friendly gesture.

CNNSI article states after a quote from tiffany carpenter that the university is preparing a statement from Pearl stating such. Like I said...stay tuned. Sometime those things don't pan out, but saying that, i think Pearl is staying.

I hope Pearl goes to Memphis. I have already prepared the "Bring Back Buzz" banners. If we could have four year cycles where Buzz recruits players, gets fired, and Bruce Pearl comes in and coaches them, maybe we would get somewhere. They could just keep doing that every four years until we are able to get Patino.

What's funny to me about this comment is if Calipari was given this kind of money he'd still be there :yes:
