Memphis Firefighter dies on way to house fire

Hey fellow Vol brothers and sisters some know me some don’t here.. I’ve been here a good while on Vol Nation but I’m a Memphis firefighter and 8/10 I lost a very good brother on his way to fight a house fire when a drunk hit his fire truck and it overturned and killed David Pleasant and injuring the other 3 guys, the 3 guys got released from the hospital and are doing the best they can after that awful night..

David leaves behind 4 daughters and was 1 year away from retirement he had 31 years on with Memphis. With that being said I need Volnation to keep us in your prayers here on the department and pray especially to David Pleasant family.

So sorry for your loss brother. I recently retired from Kingsport FD after 34 yrs of service. It sucks so bad to lose a brother. Sending prayers. And KFFA L2270 sends prayers also.
