However, the source said Witherspoon mimicked an assistant coach who had voiced his displeasure over the loss to SMU, going as far as getting on the bus' loudspeakers and doing an impression of the coach.

Is this a joke? Not talking about the loss to SMU.

Pastner is not sensitive. WW was the last of Cal's players. He's had a "this isn't what I signed on for" attitude.

This has been long overdue. Witherspoon, a junior and best talent on the team, has failed to lead, work hard, and has had a bad attitude. Cal left him in Memphis for a reason. Nothing else has worked with WW to get him to work hard, focus, and lead. Frankly, I don't care if he ever suits up in a Tiger uniform again.

Memphis fans are actually happy about this. Making the NCAA at large is a stretch. Looks like we will have a tighter rotation of the freshmen playing pretty exclusively to get them ready for the CUSA tourney and next year.
