Dane bought that hate on himself with that statement that he made. He would have received a warm welcome ,had he not run off the mouth earlier. I watched Dane as a young kid in AAU, he has always been a gamer!

really how the hell does asumnu shoot the most shots of any player on the team.. how does he get to shoot the ball that much? why does lofton wait so long to start shooting? is ridiculous. now we HAVE to beat florida, and do you think we can do that??

even if the Vols lose...they scared the hella out of em...The Vols have no reason to hange their head...they went in with less than most SEC teams and gave em all they wanted.

still lost and we still got to win 8 games to get into the tourney..... i just thought we were going to win this game. why the hell is asumnu and wingate such pansies?

No, I would guess that it's going to be just like this game only a little more frustrating. Never know though. If we can shoot like we did against Texas or SC in the second half, maybe.

Seriously, you cannot give up on this team that easily. For too many years nobody cared for UT basketball, and now as soon as they have a hint of trouble people start running. Some Vol fans are so weak. Last time I checked, this teams schedule ranked in the top 25 for difficulty. Compare that to Florida's #185 schedule difficulty. Everybody knew this would be a tough three games in a row. Now we get to play Florida at home, and I hope that everybody shows up for that game to chear our team on. And as for Dane, hopefully our fans will show up to cheer for him just as wildly as opposing teams taunt him. Go VOLS.......

No he didn't back it up, he had a heck of a game, but I didn't see any gangbangers in the stands. Every city or anywhere you go has its bad spots. Some cities are worse than others. Yes Memphis may be in the upper 25% of that category but you don't bad mouth a place especially when you have to go there and play.

The one I heard was something like he was less concerned about frat boys in the LSU arena than he was about gang-bangers in the Memphis one

Great effort by the Vols, to me anyway. I was expecting Memphis to win by 15 to 20 so this exceeded my expectations.

Can't say enough about ol Dane. Kinda reminds me of Mark Madsen in the way he provides a spark for the team with his hustle any time he's on the court, except he does it as a starter. Undersized for his position, but still had 20 and 10 against the 4th ranked team in the country. You tha man, Dane. :rock:

some of THE WORST OFFICIATING i've seen. yea, memphis got a ton of blocks, most of them were clubbing ut players. those refs make me sick

oh aint no one running and hiding. I am just stateing that this one hurt really really bad. we had it in grasp and lost it cause of effin ASUMUNU. he is on my sh** list right now..

I don't agree with the comments but:

1) he played the best game in his college career

2) as the announcers explained it, he was referring to the experience he had while living/playing in Memphis.

I don't condone but he played his ass off and clearly got into the heads of the Memphis players.
