There are some unisex bathrooms at a rest area somewhere in Indiana..

I posted something about this a long time ago.

There should be multisexual bathrooms for those who do not identify with a particular sexual preference such as male and female.

We should be all inclusive!

Uni-sex bathrooms!

Yeah baby!

:eek:k:

No, I'm being serious as a heart attack. Why are there seperate bathrooms for men and women?

Seriously...

because given the choice, most men will prefer to stand before a toilet than a urinal. and since men are pigs, they either don't put the seat up, or they don't put it back down. Women just don't like that and thus demand their own restrooms, complete with lounges, massage areas, makeup demo kiosk, and tanning beds.

You're close... nice effort. But I think you know the real reason.

I am against it because I have no desire to hear a woman let a small fart out while pooping...its happened to all of us...

And still no one answers the question with the brutal honesty I was expecting.

Get serious... why do we have men and women seperated in bathrooms... or showers at the gym for that matter?

because most men don't want to be viewed as sex objects.

I'm having a hard time detecting any real sincerity in the question.

I'm asking because it seems that too many people are coming down on Tim Hardaway. If a homosexual showers with you, you don't think the straight guys will feel like "sex objects"?

Tim Hardaway's comments have nothing to do with gender specific restrooms.

where are you going with all of this?

tell you what. just stop using public restrooms. if you're that afraid, hold it in til you get home.

Not the point. The point is, there is a reason why we have seperate bathrooms, and it is because women feel uncomforatble sharing facilities with men (and maybe vice versa). So why get outraged when Hardaway comes out and feels uncorfortable about sharing a shower with a homosexual?

I believe the outrage stemmed more from his saying that he hates gay people.

the outrage came from Hardaway stating that he hated homosexuals and admitted that he is homophobic. that's quite a bit different than being uncomfortable around them.

being uncomfortable around homosexuals should give you reason to question your own feelings of masculinity. If you're comfortable and confident in who you are, what others, complete strangers, think of you shouldn't matter.

omg are you serious!!!! thanks i needed a good laugh tonight. i dont know to many straight women who want hardaway, much less a gay man. most gay men i know have far better taste then that (no pun intended). the real reason we have seperate bathrooms is because the tampon machines make you guys nervous. come on admit it, you know its true!!!!!!!! lol....
