Just figured this would be a good place for the pros and cons.
In my quest to contact people who knew my uncle who was KIA in an Aero rifle platoon in SE Asia, I found that his LT (Who was battlefield promoted, as new PLs were generally unfit for the task) went to Rhodesia afterwards, for good pay as an instructor. His unit was the first integrated unit in Africa, and 50% of the command was native African.
Why is this bad?
