A threads merit has nothing to do with whether it is negative or positive. IT has to do with whether it addresses an actual topic that generates quality discussion among forum
members.

This forum has a lot of memebers. But the forum suffers because you have to wade through useless threads that contain no information, or subject for discussion. It is one thing to comment on a thread, another to start a thread.
That doesn't mean a thread can't be negative or positive. Only that the thread should actually be there to begin a discussion on a particular topic.
Not, "Bad hire," or, "Coach is awesome." Platitudes, one-liners and ad-hominems should simply not be allowed.
I hate gestapo moderating tactics, but with this many members there should be strict rules on what dictates a legit thread topic. Not saying every thread I've started is perfect, but I don't start a thread every two minutes.
