My 2 cents on the current situation, is that all this hysteria is probably pushing the draw to Tennesssee for Gruden away a little bit. Im just saying, it cant be helpful that he hears his kids are being sighted all over a Knoxville schools on the internet and getting asked by his current employer on air about taking ownership of the Browns for going to UT. So what I am saying is dont feed the trolls, use your brain on some of this stuff, and lets act like we been there before. If we dont get Gruden, its simply because he said no. If that happens, then Hart will make the best hire down from there. Tennessee is still a premium brand like Alabama was before Saban. We as fans cant control the outcome of any of this. So its best we stay optimistic and really get behind Hart and the new coach. We arent making the job for the new coaches job or Hart's current search any easier by being debbie downers and threatning to burn mattresses if we dont get the grand slam homerun. Its not exactly an idle situation to people outside of Knoxville like 10 years ago. We have made a lot of bad hires and had mis-management rivaling Enron. This coaching search, like our program build, is a marthon and not a sprint. Even for a Jon Gruden, its going to take some time to get a current unconfident team to beleive they can play and be successful in the new system. Heres hopes for better news and nuggets tomorrow.
