Anyone seen any action yet? I won't be able to stay up till the expected peak hours, but I hope some of it starts before I turn in.

Shouldn't start till @ 2 am est. I'm going to bed now, waking up at 1 and going to lay on the beach and watch it. Can't wait.

I'm trying to stay up and convince someone here at Bragg to join me out on the reservation where it's pitch black dark. Everyone started drinking early though :(

May go camp in my sisters backyard. She has a great backyard for viewing. Any tall trees are a good bit away from the house.

I am shocked by this! You can see every star. If you've ever done a mass attack at zero dark thirty, then you already know whats up.

We've done night jumps into Sicily. It should be perfect. Worst case scenario we drive all the way down to Holland DZ.

Saw a faint one and a bright one in South Knoxville. Sadly, that's about it so far.

I think I'm going to call it a night. Judging by what others have said on the NASA comment board and my view, this meteor shower was overhyped. I was expecting a lot of meteors per hour, and I've only seen 2 in a 1 hour period. :banghead2:
