Great article, except I'd change the "30-and-under" line to more like "25-and-under." We 30-year-olds were students at UT when "Manning to Kent" ended a decade of heartache.

i would say it's more the 16-22 set that don't understand the importance of the Bama game. even, myself at 25, knows how important the rivalry is.

i agree with doozer... i fullly remember how important manning to kent was and I live for the third saturday in october every season and I'm only 25..

Small Error. Majors last year as head coach was 1989. Fulmer took over in 1990.

Ahhh, NO!

Fulmer was interim head coach when Majors had some health issues in '92. Majors came back to end the season, lost 3 straight, and was canned. Fulmer took over as full-time head coach in '93.
