On the postgame show CPF said we are closer to finding an identity on offense.  That would be great news if  this was Springtime.

And this just in ... this weekend, Urban Meyer and Phil Fulmer have announced that they will change places and that Fulmer will coach the Gators versus Ga. The theory is that after the Gators gain -73 yards in the first half, Fulmer can tell the CBS crew as he walks off the field that he is really excited about how much the players care that they suck.

Thanks!!

I'm just a fan of my team that seems to have hired yet another coach who refuses to say what OUGHT to be on his mind, which is ..."Guys, time to wake the F#@&* UP !!"

I see you have the same problem, is all.

Not only that, but I am not going back to sleep until I figure out what the hell is going on and how I am gonna fix it.

I KNOW its broken, and it is unacceptable, and the fans and the boosters DESERVE MORE!!!!!!!! :hi:

LOL.

You know, for all of his embarrassing rants and raves, I miss Spurrier. Even you guys have to admit that his attitude of stepping up to the plate after a loss and saying things like, "We just aren't very good" was pretty refreshing.

What is with these coaches refusing to publicly say what everyone already knows? Meyer won't admit that his system is mismatched to the talent he has right now and Fulmer refuses to criticize anyone or even any facet of the team generally.

If the notion is that they are building character in the players, I don't think they are doing these kids any favors. In the NFL, nobody gets a check for trying real hard. And in the real business world, results count.

If Spurrier came to Knoxville I would move down there. I swear to God I would.

They would have to play every game at Bristol.

You can thank J. Foley for his flight.

i think spurrier at florida brought out the best in the rest of the coaches. made them step up their game. because if they didnt then florida would blow them away. his charisma and flare have since left and the coaches dont try to meet as high of standards.

Lex and Checkerboard, there have got to be some other coaches out there that can bring back that swagger, that attitude. We just got to go out and get 'em.

I know Spurrier was a cocky SOB half the time. And even I got mad when he said some of his dumb taunting things. But, in the end, the guy was a winner and dared you to come and get him. Both UF and UT could use a little fo that attitude right now.

No, not yet!! LOL.

Seriously, I think the guy has tremendous talent and he's young and energetic. If he can get the right talent for the offense he wants to run, no reason he can't turn UF into a conveyor belt of solid running backs and the occassional NFL QB.

If he gets the program back on its feet got to think a lot of kids in 2008 and 2009 and on and on will want to go play down in Gainesville.

Just that right now it is incredibly frustrating to watch this offensive line get burned play after play after play and then have Meyer come out and basically congratulate them for a good effort.

The one thing he said after last weekend at LSU that remotely made me happy was basically that when you get five turnovers from the other team and don't win, something ain't right.

But there's a few of us left that understand the difference between evil and stupid.
