You know, that's a real possibility because he said it was the only coaching job he'd ever entertain again. Should be interesting

Jerry Jones ideal fit would be Ryan Day because of his pro experience and checking all the boxes for success...… Would he entertain it... Personally, I don't think so, but being a Dallas fan I'd take Day any time over Meyer.

I REALLY don’t think he’ll succeed. His success is a lot about overwhelming talent advantage. And idk if I see his personality gelling with grown men making millions. But what do I know. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Good points , post 2 and 3. Yes, he is wired way to tight... and I question some of his hires. Ryan Day know how to handle grown men and let them have "fun" doing it but still commanding respect as head coach. That is very evident this year and he sure knows how to pick his staff... Dallas needs structure and competent NFL assistant coaches. granted, Day was handed the keys to a Ferrari but Dallas also has immense talent that is just unmotivated. It starts with coaching.

Footballscoop said Joel Klatt reported Meyer saying that HE WOULD ACCEPT THE JOB if offered.... Joel Klatt has been around Meyer every week so there is some believability there... Well, f he wants to kill himself then there is no better job than that. IMO I think he's nuts for taking it.

Meyer's strength is recruiting...best darn recruiter there is but this is a whole different game... meyer should have learned from Saban, but maybe, maybe, he could turn out to be another Pete Carroll. that's if he lasts. Dallas is probably the most stressful job in all of sports.

Forget about Joel Klatt, Meyer himself said that he would take the job on Cowherd’s show a couple of months ago.

Having said that, given the egos most coaches seem to have I won't be surprised at all if he takes it.

He'll fail just like Nick Saban failed in the NFL

Imagine how drastically different the world of football would be if Saban would’ve gotten what he wanted and Drew Brees would’ve been a Dolphin. If you think about, Drew Brees’ shoulder injury in the Pro Bowl may have had the single greatest impact on the game of football in our lives.

Imagine if Alabama would have hired Jimbo Fisher in December 2006 instead of Nick Saban.

I would probably say manager for the NY Yankees, but yeah Dallas is way up there.

I am pretty sure Saban chose Culpepper over Brees bc of Brees’s physical.
