Meyer is in the process of building his staff at OSU and it should include Florida's strength coach Mickey Mariotti and linebacker coach DJ Durkin.

This douche just proved yet again what a POS he really is. Excepting the job in principle but denying it publicly, all while another coach holds the job. Never really cared about the suckeyes but this will help me in having major hate for OSU!!

What happened? I thought the little ***** was just tired and had indigestion? Or was it heartburn with headache?

Hope he raids the entire staff...except psycho and his embarrassingly fat friend (and his retarded son).

Damn dude. You really hate Urban Meyer I take it? He is a great coach and OSU is lucky to get him, IMO.

Aren't they still facing sanctions for the whole Tressel and Pryor ordeal or has the NCAA already ruled on all of that?

I agree with most of the statements, comparisons, and all the other explicatives that are being tossed around here, BUT one thing being missed. Is it me or did he jump ship first time he saw he actually had a bad season, and now is moving to a school where he is almost GUARANTEED a BCS game! Can't take off his underoos and play big boy ball the rest of his career! Must have been that he's afraid of SEC competition week in and out! Everyone knows that we(the SEC), are our own worst enemy for we have to play the best competition week in and week out!

Fact is, he'll bring up the program there. Having said that, still smells pretty 'fishy' with how he stepped away from the game.

Once Tebow left, he could see his window of opportunity closing. Just like it got proven against Oregon, the spread offense will not work in this conference unless you have ELITE talent at QB (Cam Newton and Tebow).

Meyer = Kiffin. Wants to coach where it's easier, will take whomever he wants from wherever and will say whatever whenever it suits his needs.

I do not think the NCAA has done anything yet. Ohio State got the money last year from the Sugar Bowl. Miami said they would not go to a bowl this year because of what happened there, But Ohio State said they would go to a bowl this year. They should have to give all the money back from last year Sugar bowl. Tressel knew proyer and those guys should not even been on the field.

Too true. He has not thought this through however. osu goes to any bowl game bcs or otherwise, he will still get the same SEC arse whuppin that the big 10+2 always gets. His only hope will be to get to the rose bowl against a pac 10+2 opponent.

I know since it is osu, and now they have urban that the ncaa will only put them in a brief timeout...

Hope it does not hurt our recruiting from that region.

Serves UF right...Now how does it feel?....You guys whooped and hollered when Kiffin and company left us and now Meyer has pretty much done the same to you....Kinda sucks doesn't it?

Meyer is a prick. Never liked him.

Very two faced.

However, he can coach. He does require a certain system and athlete to be successful though. I think he will have that at OSU.

He might not ever win a BCS championship, but getting to a BCS bowl every year should be very easy.

All he will have to do to coach there for ever is beat Michigan and go to a BCS bowl.

It's interesting, because everyone believed Meyer when he left so the situation was much different and everyone felt sorry for him and couldn't believe what a stand up guy he was for wanting to be a family man.

But now, there is no other way to look at it. It was just a sham. He lied to everyone because it made it easier to exit. Imagine if he just would have said, I quit because I want to coach where it's easier.

I mean he wanted to be closer to his kids in Florida schools did he not? Ohio is much closer right?

What evs.
