Miami at Florida (Orlando) 7pm ESPN

It’s a win and it was ugly.
If you don’t think this fanbase would light our guys up for that kind of win over a down rival where we were supposed to kill them, then you haven’t been paying attention.

Collectively as a fanbase? I do not agree at all. This place proves it. There would be a strong portion, maybe even half that would do what you said; but the other half would say "Shut up and enjoy the W", especially if it were UF who we've hardly beaten in modern history.

Indeed what? Lol, Miami scored and was up after you called the game , doofus. But, congrats Florida won. They looked like world beaters too.

Of course I know it doesn't matter "they'll still beat our silly asses by 50, or more. Blah blah blah."

I don’t think they will beat us by double digits this year. I think we will make it a competitive game.

Get back to me when we take a 7 year break from Florida we are ranked top ten and they receive no votes. we are favored to beat them by a lot, and the tv guys are picking a blowout by half. We then play like hot garbage and have to hold on to win in a game that we should have lost.
I’m skeptical that anyone would be showing any emotions beyond “well we’re lucky we got that one and we are probably in for a long year”

I’d be happy winning against them no matter what, I don’t care if we turned the ball over 10x, rushed for -100 yards, and looked like a fresh turd doing it. If we win, I’m gonna celebrate beating them every time

I imagine UF fans feel the same way we did after the 2016 opener against App St. We're glad for the win, but deep down they are worried if they're honest with themselves. "I was happy that we beat App St., but what a cluster."

So if I was a UF fan, and thank the Lord I’m not, I would enjoy the win over Miami even if it was ugly it’s a rivalry game after all. So today would be a good day... but Monday onward has very dark storm clouds and tornado warnings once the SEC run starts.

He actually played pretty well. Especially considering the lack of men with a pulse on the offensive line.
I thought he did as well. First start in college on a national stage against a top 10 team (deserved or not) and he went 19/30 for 214 yds and a TD. He definitely held the ball too long at times but he also made some really nice throws at times with defenders all over him that were dropped. He will be tough in a couple years, maybe sooner.

Ok, I'll be sure to get back to you for a scenario that will never happen.

But I can point to games like the GT game in 2017. Yes I know it wasn't a big rival and yes we weren't Top 10 and yes we weren't gigantic favorites, but we played like garbage and were lucky as heck to get a W. And after the game, the people saying it was going to be a long year were shouted down by those saying "Shut up and enjoy the W" and started telling us how good GT was (spoiler: they weren't).

So if you're skeptical there wouldn't be people acting just like I'm saying, I think maybe you are the one that hasn't been paying attention around here.

Did not get to watch game. I don't have cable or satellite. Where can I watch replay of this game?

Don't waste your time. I had to quit watching at the half.

The SEC paid the ref's mucho xtra cash, in order to call a massive number of bogus calls against the Canes.

Looks like two 7th grade girls in a hairpulling fight.

Here is a fair assessment:

What FSU fans can take from Saturday’s Florida-Miami (FL) debacle

Thanks for sharing.
I was wondering if Miami's O-Line was that bad or UF D-line was that good. An interesting take from the article:
"But was it really the Florida defensive front’s dominance, or the Hurricanes’ OL ineptitude? Miami’s rushing performance suggests the latter. Because when you subtract yards lost to sacks, the ’Canes still averaged 5.9 yards per carry."
I don't if this is meaningful in any way, but I guess we'll see. It could also be that Miami's O-line is OK at run blocking, UF's D-line is good at pass blocking, and so on.

I assume you read my whole post... That being said do you not understand that is we beat an unbeaten team it make us look better? If (and they nearly did) lose to UM and then we beat them, people will say "well, Tennessee beat them'um too, so what".
You think any of that really matters? There's Bama... Gawga... LSU maybe... A&M... maybe........ and e'rybody else.

Florida can't lose enough games in my lifetime to make me happy.
