It explains the Marlins attendance and the Heat bandwagon since Lebron arrived.

What a joke....

The Heat were packing the place way before LeBron and the Marlins attendance went way up from previous years due to the new stadium.

Thanks for showing up, Miami fans (PHOTO) | Dr. Saturday - Yahoo! Sports

That is the picture when they hit the field.

"The University of Miami would like to thank all 300 people who came out today to support the Hurricanes.

This is how the stadium looked when the Hurricanes came out of the tunnel for Saturday's game against Bethune-Cookman. And it didn't get much better as the game went on. Everyone out tailgating stayed in the parking lot instead of watching what was ultimately a 38-10 Miami win.

What fans missed was freshman running back Duke Johnson scoring four touchdowns in three different ways, including a 95-yard kick return, a 50-yard touchdown reception and runs of 1 and 28 yards.

Look, we know it's Bethune-Cookman, and the Hurricanes are coming off an awful loss to Kansas State, but this is just sad. So sad."

Are you sure? I thought the fans were pretty pathetic during the Lamar Odom and Michael Beasley Days.

And that doesn't change the fact they were closing off parts of the stadiums and fans weren't going to games when they were winning World Series. Then fans complained that the team had fire sales. They really had no choice but to do that if they wanted to get something for those players. They built contenders on the cheap and after coaching them up, there was no way to re-signed them because they didn't have the money thanks to the fans not going to games.

I'm not saying you're one of those fans but watching the Marlins fans no show during World Series runs and how the fans acted with the arrival of Lebron, no offense but a lot the fans are pretty horrible in my book.

No attendence was excellent during the Beasley years...Of course when you get superstars like LeBron James attendence is going to skyrocket...I've been to Laker games where the place was only half full so it goes for every team...Basketball tickets are EXPENSIVE...The Marlins on the other hand are a different animal all together, The ownership of that team has lied repeatly to the fans and many have no forgotten them breaking up the last world series team...They spent a ton of money in the off season to celebrate the stadium opening but when it looked like the team wasn't going to do anything they got rid of the cancer they had "Hanley"...Many fans will never go back to supporting them until they sell the team.

Side note: I hope the little Florida Marlins logo in your favorite teams section doesn't get updated.
